 THANKSGIVING DAY

Last November 23rd we received a very special visit at our school. Ten people from Texas came to show our students how they celebrate Thanksgiving Day in North America. They performed  the first pilgrim's hard journey to America, their relationship with Native Americans, their first dinner (which lasted 3 DAYS!!), what they ate, what they did...  in a very enjoyable and didactic way. Our students also made special bookmarks  with those things they are thankful for in their lives and ate a lot of candies because they were very motivated, had a lot of fun and what's more important, practised a lot of English!!!
Since Thanksgiving is a period for being grateful, we would like to thank Mr. David Acton and the people from his Foundation for helping us and our students in such a generous way.
